Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluations

Natchaug Hospital provides a comprehensive Autism Spectrum evaluation that includes thorough diagnostic interviews, structured observations of the youth, and measures of emotional, social, and behavioral functioning.


Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Evaluations

Natchaug Hospital’s ADHD evaluations include a variety of measures completed by the youth, parent/caregiver, and teacher(s), as well as a computerized assessment to directly measure the youth’s attention.

Extended Day Treatment

The Extended Day Treatment program for children and adolescents is particularly helpful for individuals with special needs who are in foster care.


Inpatient Treatment

Natchaug Hospital provides a wide range of psychiatric and substance-abuse treatment for children, adolescents and adults at our 57-bed Mansfield Center inpatient facility.

Intensive-In Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS)

Helping children with psychiatric disorders, and their families,within the child’s home.


Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Natchaug offers seven partial hospital and intensive outpatient day treatment programs for children and adolescents.


Joshua Center Programs

Natchaug's Joshua Center Programs treat children as young as six and as old as 17 who are struggling with psychiatric or substance abuse issues, but do not require inpatient care.


Journey House Program

In 2004, Natchaug Hospital opened a 13-bed transitional living community on its Mansfield Center campus to provide intensive, comprehensive mental health treatment and special education for court-involved adolescent girls.


Partial Hospitalization Treatment

Natchaug Hospital is now offering a substance abuse partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient for adolescents.
