The Natchaug Food Pantry, a Foodshare partner, offers perishable and nonperishable items to the community twice a month or by appointment.

The pantry is open to the public on the first Tuesday of the month from 9 am to 11 am and the third Friday of the month from 1 pm to 3 pm.

If you cannot make the dates open to the public, intakes for appointments are available.

Natchaug Hospital Food Pantry is a TEFAP partner:

Eligibility

To be eligible for TEFAP, you must:
  1. Be a CT resident
  2. Have income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)
  3. Provide the number of people in your household
You will not be required to:
  1. Show your ID
  2. Prove if you are a CT resident or a US Citizen
  3. Prove your income
  4. Prove whether you receive other benefits or the amount of benefits you receive
  5. Prove you live in a certain city, town, or neighborhood
  6. Prove the number of people in your household, provide birth dates, or show birth certificates
  7. Provide social security numbers for yourself or anyone in your family
